Three EL’s are held in the Mount Hope region of western New South Wales and contain 4 prospects.
These are:
ELA 3038 - Mount Solar & Mt Solitary
EL 5343 - Main Road prospect
EL 6755 - Broken Ridge
Mt Solar
Mt Solar is a historic gold copper mine that contains a number of old underground workings.
At Mount Solar drilling is being designed to test targets below significant
copper and gold values recently obtained in a drilling program.

Mt Solitary
7km to the north of Mt Solar is the Mount Solitary gold copper prospect.
The Mt Solitary prospect is also centred on a historic gold copper mining district which included both shafts and a small open pit or glory hole. (see Fig.3)
(Fig.4 Mt Solitary Geology)
(Fig.5 Generalised Composite Section across the Prinicipal Gold-Rich Zones)
Two previous holes are to be deepened, and a third hole drilled to test the possibility of gold at greater depths. A cored hole to the west is also be drilled
to test the possibility of nugget gold beneath a small but rich outcrop.
Main Road
EL 6755 (Main road) embraces a low-lying hill of similar rock type to
the
Mount Solitary host rocks. Field examination is planned to assess this zone
as a drilling target.
Rock chip sampling at Main Road has retuned results of up to 120 g/t Au,
while RC drilling by RGC has found 3m @ 11.22 g/t Au. (see table below)

A diamond hole is planned to test the possibility of nuggety gold below a
small but rich outcrop in the Main road prospect.
