Central West Gold continues to explore for a wide variety of metals
in various States as summarised below:

The initial twelve holes at Pulganbar northwest of Grafton yielded economic intersections of cobalt     associated with copper and gold values. Seven recent holes have intersected wide sulphide rich intervals,     but (Cu-Co-Au) assay results are not yet available.

Drilling at Mount Solitary intersected various zones of gold mineralisation (with a maximum 1 metre interval     of 5.25g/t) and follow up drilling is planned.

Four exploratory holes drilled at Oberon to test geophysical and gold-base metal geochemical anomalies     intersected previously unrecorded zones of mineralisation. While values were not of economic     significance, follow up drilling of previously obtained high gold grades is now planned.

Seven RC holes (824m) at Mary Kathleen encountered significant but uneconomic uranium mineralisation.     JV partner Goldsearch is currently undertaking geochemical and geophysical exploration to define both     uranium and copper drill targets.

The field program at Ooloo started mid-July, with scintillometer measurements as well as stream sediment     geochemistry and rock chip sampling carried out.

The current high price of tin has markedly increased the prospectivity of the Ottery deposit northwest of     Glen Innes and drilling is scheduled to start as soon as a drilling rig becomes available.
